Her Version

Back in the fall of 2005 a handsome young man felt lost and alone in the redundant cycle of “chick-picking” in the bar scene: so he decided to search a new terrain; this challenge lead him to the gym of Springfield Racquet and Fitness Center (where his mom bought him and his younger brother Greg a membership).

During his adventure in “chick-picking” at the club, his attention was drawn to a beautiful and talented young lady that worked there as their sales manager, but due to his in experience in this new terrain he felt hopelessly out of his league and went through her co-worker to try and get her number (chicken).

Soon the young lady, who was also a bar-tender at night, took pity on the overwhelmed young gent and gave him a call on one of her slow nights, inviting him to join her for a drink before she started her shift at the bar. Being eager and clueless, the unknowing man jumped at the opportunity. So that night he tried to do his best to swoon her with his charming (yet slurred) comments. Needless to say she was amused, yet not quite sold.

The next few months following were, for lack of a better word, frustrating for the “over-his-head” fellow, for he just couldn’t seem to win this challenging young ladies heart (let alone read her). She seemed interested one moment then completely oblivious of his presence the next. Finally, after chasing this wild hellion for a couple of months, he threw in his towel and was getting ready to give up, walking away with his head lowered in defeat. Then almost out of no where a miracle happened, the seemingly un-tamable cult was broken and came to her senses calling up the broken hearted young gent and proclaiming her love for him.

So his many months of patience paid off and the two finally started going steady January 12th 2006. The next year the couple was un-separable, experiencing some of the greatest changes and challenges of their lives. The ambitious and driven young man took the next step with his career by starting his own business and buying his first home; while the young women quit bar tending and focused on her record breaking sales career.

It wasn’t even a year later that the charming, sophisticated young man decided to make sure his prize didn’t get away and so he got down on his knee in front of God and both families to propose his undying love for this once un-tamable cult. It just so happened to be on her 24th birthday, December 16th 2006.

Sense then, their love has grown and flourished. They are to be joined in matrimonial bliss, November 10th 2007, and then honeymoon at an all-inclusive Sandals resort in ST. Lucia! And with the end of this page is the beginning of a new chapter in their lives that they will write together. So you can get the un-biased version.
